ROI remote training is primarily based on interactive and learning by doing approach, where participants are not bombarded with tons of theoretical material and slides, but are rather engaged into training process through the utilization of modern technologies in form of multi participant conferencing platforms, live group surveys, break-out sessions for smaller groups, etc. Though most importantly ROI EFESO remote trainings provide participants a unique opportunity to be virtually present on the shop floor of Lean IoT FAB and be part of the training as if they were physically standing at the training station.
Session 1:
- Brief introduction to the overall SMED training and sessions content
- SMED Theory
- Change-over process video – basic observation
- Assignments: identify waste in the process; identify internal/external change-over activities
- Group review of the assignment
Session 2:
- Short review of the session 1
- Change-over process video - analysis by means of Paper Kaizen (PK) method
- Assignment: propose improvement activities of the observed process to eliminate waste
- Group review of the assignment
Session 3:
- Short review of the session 2
- Real time change-over process observation
- Group assignment: PK analysis and proposal of the improvement initiatives
- Group review of the assignment
Session 4:
- Short review of the session 3
- Review of the realized potential from the previous assignment
- Introduction of the standard form for change-over description
- Summary
