Headline:
Based on customer’s input ROI makes mapping from organizational point of view to process execution view and derives FTE loading of the selected order-to-cash (OTC) processes. Comparing the examined FTE loading with long term benchmark numbers ROI identifies area for OTC process improvement and quantifies potential.
Description:
Step 1 – Input gathering (standardized form):
- Organization chart including number of direct/indirect/leased FTEs
- List of employees with link to organization chart
- Number of sales orders / sales orders lines in the last 12 months
- Number of purchase orders / purchase orders lines in the last 12 months
- Number of work orders in the last 12 months
- Number of trucks in/out in the last 12 months
- Working time / year
- Average cost direct/indirect FTE
Step 2 – Interview preparation:
- Clarification of the gathered data and resolution of the identified deviations
- Identification of the managers for interview
- Schedule interviews (10-90 minutes depending on the size of department)
Step 3 – Interviews:
- Mapping employees' allocation to processes with each manager
Step 4 - Data processing and preparation of deliverables:
- All FTEs / NonOTC indirect / Total OTC / Direct labour / OTC numbers
